Technology associates at Cincinnati Insurance develop and maintain programs
for our headquarters operations, field staff and the independent agencies that
represent us.
We support mainframe, networked and Web-based systems. We develop on IBM®
z/OS, Microsoft® Windows, IBM AIX and Novell Suse Linux platforms. Our current
projects center on developing and implementing client-server and distributed

We are working on projects that have a major impact on the company’s
business practices. Our most exciting and far-reaching projects are e-commerce
systems that will streamline workflows between our agent, field staff and
headquarters operations. These multi-tiered, rule-based systems use Java or
Microsoft technologies on the front end with business logic and processing
taking place on Windows®, AIX or Linux servers at our Headquarters. Other
initiatives include electronic document processing, document imaging and B2B
Web portals. We also utilize a Project Management Office to implement these
corporate initiatives.
